HOW SECURE LOGIN (MILITARY DOD SECURE LOGIN) WORKS?

　

If you do not know how secure login works, we strongly suggest you to get assistance from your administration. Here we can give you some general directions.

　

There are a few things that must be done to be able to do secure login. They should be done in the order listed. They are:

• Smart Card Reader installed on PC (please see the AUCTION INCLUDE section on this page for the instruction where to get the driver software. Usually we will provide a web link to the manufacturer website)

• Middleware software installed on PC

• Register your Smart Card (ID Card) with Web browser

Middleware for military secure login: Please contact your administration to get a copy of ActivCard Gold, ActivClient or Netsign. Or please log into Army Knowledge Online (AKO) or Defense Knowledge Online (DKO) to find out detailed information where to get such middleware.
